On Monday August 2nd the bitter truth of the countries unloved and unwanted dogs is told on Panorama. Every pound has staffs or has had them and to add to this here are 6 more. These ones are the lucky ones, not simply bred to die, but look at one of the many sites selling pups often there are pages and pages of ads for staff pups and yet still more are bred. These pups mum was thrown out pregnant. We cannot be sure these pups are pure staffs but they look like it. They all need special forever homes. Ones that are prepared to socialize, train and, of course, spay or neuter when the time is right. This breed has a bad reputation because of bad owners. Help us to turn this round by raising happy loving well trained staffs. There is a saying.... Don't breed or buy while pound dogs die - this is never more true than for the staffordshire bull terrier.

01-08-10 Jenny-Wren is now 5 weeks old. She and all her sisters and brother are sweet, cuddly and confused to find themselves here. We will try to make their stay happy until the right homes come forward. Please don't pass them by because of their breed. They are loving, friendly and so ready to be a family friend and in the right homes that's exactly what they will be.
This dog is at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.
