24-08-10 Scrumpy is a happy and gentle chap. He is very sweet and loves the company of other dogs. Scrumpy is a 3 year old terrier rescued by our very good friends in Ireland. He does not yet understand walking on his lead but given time, patience and confidence this will come. This happy chap really does deserve a loving home someone with lots to give. I hate seeing him in the kennels here he is so upset and lonely!

Still looking for a home

29-09-10 UPDATE
Scrumpy has been with us nearly a month now. He has settled in beautifully but has obviously been confined in a small space before as he has a habit of running round in circles. He is living quite happily with our 2 cavaliers, a rabbit and the cats. We have had the odd toilet accident but they are becoming less frequent. He climbed Pen y fan at the weekend for the George Thomas Hospice and helped us raise £225. He had a lot of fuss made of him that day but sadly no permanent home offers. I think he would do well as an only dog in the home. He loves my daughters and really deserves to find a happy home. Please give him a second look.

Scrumpy has been with us some time now and we are keen to get him a good home soon. He is a delightful little dog, very good natured and keen to please. The toilet training is going very well and we have had far fewer accidents recently. He loves to play. Gets on well with anyone who visits the house, dogs and people alike. Poor Scrumpy has had to come back to kennels through no fault of his own. He is sad to find himself back here and so are we as he has been waiting so long for his forever home to come forward. Please take a second look at Scrumpy and if you think you could offer him a home completely the application form.

Scrumpy is an extremely special little terrier. Over the months many other dogs have come and gone but Scrumpy has been overlooked time and time again. It really makes no sense because he really is the perfect little dog to take home. The one and only bad thing that can be said about this little guy is that he will chase a running cat but so many dogs will do the same and Scrumpy has lived peacefully in a foster home with a rabbit and dog savvy cats. He was only returned to the centre from his foster home due to a change in their circumstances. He is excellent with children and lovely and cuddly with everyone he meets. He can go to a home on his own or with another dog -although he does pick his friends! Scrumpy has gorgeous big ears and a huge heart and is so much fun to have in your life. Come and meet him and you will see for yourselves; he really is a fab little dog!
