By the way, when I was at the vet yesterday getting inoculations, the vet was rabbiting on about feeding and diet and mentioned that feeding dogs grapes or sultanas or any other dried grape ( raisins & currants) was potentially dangerous. Some dogs are totally unaffected, but some get ill, and some die ! So the vet said.

The vet said they didn't know why.

Take note.

This is absoloutely correct!!

Never give grapes, raisins etc or any type of onion either! although a little garlic doesnt hurt. Chocolate is another that is poisonous to dogs.

Grapes can cause kidney failure very quickly if eaten in large amounts
