PostSubject: Buster-Lacey & Milly    Sun Sep 26, 2010 7:41 am

Back in 2008 is when I first had contact with Ron.... I spoke to him with regards to re-homing a GSD pup.
Had my home check (passed) and Ron suggested I look at a little pup who was still in foster care in Ireland.

Molly was her name, short haired black & tan bundle of cuteness.
How could anyone not want to offer such a sweet, adorable looking baby a home...... so I spoke to Ron and said I would love to offer her a home
A few days later I got the terrible news that Molly (who was still in Ireland) had taken ill and sadly didn't make it.
As you can image there were a lot of tears and heart ache even tho I never got to meet the little girl herself.

Ron said he would do everything to help find another pup, and boy did he mean it lol
Hows about this white boy he said, and staring at me was this picture of a fluffy bundle of white fur.... omg he looked so lovely and cute just like a little bear Smile

first picture I ever saw of Buster x

so it was arranged for the 13th Sept 2008 that I meet both Ron, Chris and Buster at the Surrey pet fair.

Here is a pic of that special day....

So thats the story of how Buster came into my life, Im so lucky and happy that he did even tho he is a naughty big so and so when out, he is different when in the home he acts and looks like an angel so gentle and full of love...

Well the story doesn't end there lol
After having Buster at home with us a month or so on I saw that Ron had 10 yes 10 GSD X pups up for re-homing. At the time they were still in Ireland with their amazing foster mum Catherine. I spoke to Ron with regards to re-homing a little girl, when they were ready to come over I picked up my little Lacey one chilly Sunday morning back in October 2008 Smile
I was informed by the pups foster mum that Lacey (as I named her) was the runt of the litter and if she could she would have kept her, im so glad she didnt as Lacey is so sweet and gentle, not a bad bone in her body lol even tho a little scatty at times.

So its a big thanks to Ron and Chris and all those wonderful people in Ireland that I have my gorgeous babies <3
I love my dogs to bits... so grateful they came into my life

Lacey as a pup in Ireland

some pics of them now... sorry to bore you Smile

Lacey playing mummies to Missy a staff pup I looked after for a week

They are lovely..

But I need the answer to one very important question..

How do you get a Tennis Ball to last a walk .. Mine kill theirs within a few minutes . They loose the heavy rubber ones in the long grass, so I've given up now and don't take any with me anymore.

lol.... Lacey is Buster's slave, when you throw the ball she will run for it, gently picks it up, turns/walks up to Buster and drops it on the ground for him to have.. he will then hold it in his mouth gently doesn't chew it, runs up to you like showing off that he has the ball.. Buster never gives it back, just wags his tail and does like a pony jump as I call it waiting for whoever to chase him.
