11-10 Keia is a very pretty 2½ year old boxer who was sold to a family from a breeder as a puppy and has been living in a family home. Unfortunately the family could no longer keep Keia so returned her to the breeder who has given her to us to find a new loving home. Keia is a lovely girl, she is a little wary when first meeting people she doesn't know and especially towards men. We are helping her overcome this and are looking for a home with at least one adult male to help her. It just may take a little longer to adjust and become confident around her new family. Once Keia does get to know you she becomes a lot happier and will come up for a fuss. Keia does know how to walk on a lead, although when nervous and worried she does worry about this. Keia has lived as an only dog although we feel another dog will help her become more confident with new situations and so are looking for a home where there is already a confident dog to help her.

This dog is at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.

Still looking for a home to call her own

Keia is a lovely happy girl. A typical boxer with lots of energy. She is full of life and just loves people. She is much happier to play with you than a toy or another dog. She is still wary of strangers at first and does need the company of another dog. She is good with other dogs but she is a bouncy girl though so may not be a good companion for an older dog. Keia does have a sensitive tummy but is fine with careful feeding. Keia very much enjoys her cuddles and fusses and would happily have affection thrown at her constantly. She has been with us quite some time now and she really deserves to find a home.

[hi just to let you know i am the proud owner now off keia i got her 30th of jan she has since put on 5 pound i have never known such a happy dog who in life just wants to cuddle up on my bed or sofa lol she lives with me my husband and my 18th month old boxer who really adores keia she always wins when it comes to toys he happy just lets her take it lol
