MEET ROSIE

Rosie and Blue

Rosie (standing) and Teddy

Rosie is 2 years old, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She has been surrendered very reluctantly by her owner.

Rosie knows her basic commands very well she is attentive and has good recall. She has lived with another dog and a cat.

Rosie is a very friendly dog,ut once she has got to know you, Rosie is showing signs of fear agression when outdoors, so will need an experienced family who are willing to work through this with her. She will bark at people and dogs when out on a lead.

Althoug Rosie is 2 years old, she acts indoors like a young pup. She loves to play chase with the other dogs and steal their toys.

She is a bit overweight, due to lack of exercise.

Homecheck and donation will apply

If you are interested in Rosie, please give Ron a call on 01273 236 418

Rosie is still looking for a new home..

Unfortunaltly she is not a suitable companion for the resident dog.

She is lovely, sounds like she needs a confident owner who has her out a lot, and show her the world is a beautiful and not scary place, bless her.

Rosie has been with me a few days now and we are taking things slowly.

Indoors she is such a treat. She is very obedient, well mannered and loves to play. She is getting on famously with Blue who loves a play. The two of them spend most of their day bounding around the house chasing each other or playing tug of war with a toy. Teddy is worn out watching them.

The outside world is still a scary place for Rosie and that is being worked with slowly.

Here are some more photo's of Rosie .. and Rosie playing tug of war with Blue.

Rosie is continuing to do well in foster. We are working on her fear of the great outdoors. It is coming along slowly, sometimes good and sometimes not so brilliant. I have taken to putting a muzzle on her when out, I don't believe it will stay on for long, and it is more of a precaution.

Rosie tends to bark at every person and dog we meet, some she will nuzzle, mostly she calms down after a short while.

Today we went on a BIGGSD walk, with lots of other German Shepherds. She did have a bark at others but on the whole she did better than we were expecting.

It was a big day for her, and alot to take in she is completely worn out now as are Teddy and Blue.

Rosie is starting to settle in now. She is such a fun loving happy to play all day dog. She loves having the company of another dog to play with. She would love to play with the kittens but is a bit to heavy footed for them.

I am walking her on a gentle leader and she is doing well, still scared of people and dogs but getting better.

Rosie is grown up cat friendly .. This is her last night settled for bed.
