| If the pups food has been chopped & changed about a lot then that will cause a bad tummy anyway
as already said, starve then give rice with chicken or white fish i.e. cod & maybe a little scrambled egg for breakfast. then when solid, move onto a decent complete puppy food or raw meat & rice

| Natural yoghurt - tho' this wont work if pup has a dairy intolerance. Blood test at vets..... Expensive but worth it to see if pup has allergies (I'm remembering Mitch who was allergic to dairy and meat).
Good Luck Pup

| Agree with Shaz add a dollop of plain yogurt or cottage cheese to allow some good bacteria... If your going to feed chicken/fish & rice the rice is the bulky part of the meal... 3-4 small meals throughout the day. You also need to make sure the pup is drinking plenty of water so pup dont become dehydrated. Also read pumpkin is a good food for tummy problems.. ill find a link |

| Here you go
Pumpkin for Diarrhea and Constipation
It's quite remarkable that fresh or canned pureed pumpkin (if using canned: do not use the pie filling variety but the 100% natural canned pumpkin) can work wonders for both the occasional bout of diarrhea or for the opposite, constipation in dogs. It has been reported that it firms up dog's loose stools or diarrhea within a few hours. How much pumpkin should you give? It depends on the size of the dog but as a rule of thumb a couple of teaspoons daily for a small dog or a couple of tablespoons for a large dog. You may have to disguise it in you dog's favorite food.

| Poor Izzy was found in a bad state , taken in by a rescue , shes been to the vets who gave her a clean bill of health ...
Think its just trying to find food that suites her ... I suggested little & often , chicken & rice ... with no treats ... stick to one food instead of changing it too often ...
I wouldnt starve her ......
I ve also suggested raw ...

| Pups under 8 months can be starved for no more than 12 hours... if you think about it, last feed at 5pm and say the dog gets fed 7am thats over 12 hours Hope little one gets better soon x |

| Try adding pro biotic powder to his meals.
Herbie had an awful tum - he went on antibiotics which cleared it up but as soon as they stopped he got his poorly tum back - this happened three times until i decided to go down the homeopathic route. I took him to our homeopathic vet, who gave him probiotic powder and his tummy has been fine ever since. I am sure that you can buy it from a good pet food store without going to the expenses of registering him at a homeopathic vets. |
