Molly is a 6-7 year old Jack Russell x Spaniel female. She is a very sweet lady who is very good with other dogs. She has had a very tough life and was dumped in a ravine in Ireland last year. She managed to find her way to sanctuary and then headed over to us. On her vet examinations it was found she had an issue with her heart and this needed investigation before she could be rehomed. Molly has now had her ECG and heart scan and it was found she had a slight leak on one of the valves of her heart which is causing the murmur. However it is not clinically significant. The leak is so slight there is no need for medication now or in the foreseeable future. The consultant's report will be passed to adopters.
Molly is very sweet and gentle but needs a quiet home as she is shy. She loves cuddles and sitting on your lap. She is housetrained and very good in the home. She needs time to bond with an owner as she has had so many changes in her life. She would need to stay on lead, even when in the garden first of all as she can get spooked easily. She is very gentle on the lead/harness however traffic scares her. She also travels well in the car preferring the front seat! A patient home with a secure garden or a flat would suit her. She is an ideal companion dog for an older person/couple who have the time and patience to give this sweet girl. Molly is spayed, fully vaccinated, wormed and deflead.
We are just looking for a special forever home for Molly. We will not be asking for a minimum donation but would appreciate a donation towards costs.
