Please meet Ralph who came to Sussex German Shepherd Rescue via Pat and Ed's in Ireland.

Ralph was hit by a car and left to suffer, lucky for Ralph someone found him and took him to the local vets in Ireland where he stayed for 4 or 5 weeks before going to Pat & Ed's.

Unfortunately poor Ralph was at the vets today and it is very bad news. Ralph is now on remidol for the pain. He also needs x-rays costing £400 to 500 then an operation on his left leg, there is a possible chance Ralph may need his leg amputated


We are appealing to all memebers to help raise much needed funds for this poor baby .

The Sussex team know it is a lot of money and that our members are generous, but can we please try and give as much as we can and help this young boy

Ralph had his operation on the 15th April. He had a sliver of bone removed to realign his elbow joint. Ralph will only be on a restricted exercise and physio regime for 2 to 3 months. All this with just icepacks for pain relief. This will make sure he doesn't leap around or twist on it too because it will hurt. Poor Ralph has to go through this pain just so he can run.

As you can see from my photos I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself.
This BIG pain meds plaster on my side itches like crazy and I have tried to scratch it off

Micropore gave up the ghost so he's got red vet wrap on now


I know I've had a rough day but my mum thinks I'm a tad spoilt


I'm not feeling quite so great but I'm glad to be home
