| My Mum n Dad tok me to my first puppy training class on Tuesday. There was only 2 other puppies for me to "play" with , but what fun. I can now ignore my Dad to order, I know sit , stand , down when I can be bothered, walk to heel, right turn and about turn. Its all good until we get to a left turn and we all get stuck. I also get to go on morning walks with a pack of rowdy dogs , including my mate Yogi the Aussie Kelpie. Its is confirmed I weigh in at just over 30 kilo's , but still gorgeous not an gram of fat on this lad.It could have something to do with the amount of my Mums hall carpet I have eaten. ( Why cant there be a white Shepherd on the icons) |

 | Subject: Kane Top of the class. Wed Nov 23, 2011 9:49 am | |
| Hi everyone, Dad thought it was about time we gave you all an update on how wonderful I am. I attend training classes on Wednesday nights apart from today ,the trainer needed a night off. Blowing my own trumpet I have been top of the class 3 weeks on the trot. I left puppy class with a distinction , the only one from the group. Not a bad begining. I now go to big dog classes, even with Mum sitting watching I show that I can behave. I can do about turn, left about, and a clever alternative about. (Dad goes one way I go the other). Working off lead I am pretty good, when Dad gets it right. I now weigh just over 38 kilos, but am not a fat boy. I have a dog walker that takes me out with the pack ,every morning. Mum and Dads house is getting used to my dirty feet all over their clean floors, heh heh. Mum and Dad walk me in the local woods ,whilst Hannah has her riding lesson and my recall has come on brilliantly, only whenMum is around. My favourite place in the house , apart from in front of my food bowl, must be Mum and Dads bed either during the day when resting or waiting until they fall asleep and jumping up to keep them company. I will get Mum to update some piccs ,as Dad is useless with this techi stuff.

| Hi Everyone, I thought I would update all of you with how good my little man was at class last night. OFF LEAD.... the exercise was to stand, wait, sit wait, down wait , weave , about turn ,to heel, all close heel work. He may of been a little slow but, Kane won the treats and a certificate as most improved, he now has two certificates and the trophy from the "Open Day" when he came home with us. I am so proud of Kane ,without a great deal of work he is still top of the class. He beat the others in the class by miles and all in front of his Mum, so even with the distraction of mum watching he was great. Our little Blond bonmbshell is proving to be really special. Thanks to all the special people from Sussex who helped get out little man from Ireland , and kept him safe, may they carry on their wonderful work. |
