Bob is in Ireland, he is looking for a fabulous new home. He should be travelling to the UK in 2 weeks.

Bob is a very handsome German Shepherd who needs a new home as his owner is ill and having to go into hospital. He is 18 months old and was bought by his present owner two months ago from a man who had had him for some time but could no longer keep him.

Bob appears to have led a very quiet life as he is rather reserved as if he has not had much experience of life in general. Used to living outside, he was not allowed in the house. He was taken for walks but always on a lead as his owner was afraid he would not come back to him if he was loose. Really his owner could not cope and should never have taken Bob on in the first place.

Bob was being looked after by friends of his owner as he was ill and the man who rescued Bob heard he was going to be put down as he was tied up, barking a lot and the neighbours were complaining. His rescuer collected Bob immediately, and found he was a nice dog, a bit shy but travelled quite happily in his car on the way to the kennels'

Bob will be neutered, have a health check, be fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough, treated for internal and external parasites and be microchipped. .

Bob really is a lovely boy, he just wants the right home with an owner who understands German Sheperds, is ready to give him the training he needs and to have the time and patience to bring out the faithful, loving nature that I know this dog has in him.

BOB is still waiting for his forever home, although someone is may be going to foster him.

Bob is quite happy at my vet's kennels but is getting a bit bored in his run. He has made a friend, my vet's Collie "Fohla" and they spend most of the day romping around in the paddock, playing with toys and chasing each other and watching the clients arriving with their animals.

He has had all his jabs and been neutereed and what Bob really needs now is a home, either foster or permanent.

I do enjoy reading all the nice comments that are made when I have a dog for rehoming, it is most encouraging. I will try and get a photo of Bob and his friend playing if they will keep still long enough !

The brown and white Collie is male (neutered) and the black and white Collie is a female also neutered.
As you can see he gets on well with both of them. They are more or less his age and they have taught him to enjoy playing with toys.
