Sussex has experience in this field, as we have homed 5 gsd pups to families with disabled children. You can see the difference a dog makes in their life.
If there is a family that would like to re-home a gsd pup for a disabled child, then please don't hesitate in contacting me, ill do my best to help you.. Ron

My neighbours little nephew has just recently been diagnosed with a mild form of autism, everyone just thought he was a naughty child who never listened to anyone. He started coming to visit and came walks with Dana, she was so gentle with him and he became very calm around her, would listen to being told that he had to be gentle not run away stop when he was told etc because Dana would be with him. What a difference it made to him so much so that his dad done some research and found that this could help his little boy (the dad did not like dogs) they now have their own family dog.
