sleeper Posted 07/05/2010 20:59:17

bloomin' 'eck!!! pale

for a wee pup, she's got some nerve. barked, whined and screamed her head off on the ferry because she couldn't go and see every man, woman and child or dog.she climbed the stairs, chairs, table, windowcill and me!

then just as she shut up, the wonderful people who run the ferry company decided it was time for an emergency drill for the staff. thanks lads!!!

men running everywhere with yellow jackets and walkie-talkies and sirens going off, flashing lights..the full biz.happy, along with all the kids on the boat found this great fun.

to say we were the centre of attention is putting it mildly.

she's now asleep in a crate while my two catch their breath after being made to charge round the garden like whirling dervishes.

photos will follow tomorrow .....if she keeps still long enough!

siobhan Posted 07/05/2010 22:33:07

Just wish I'd been there to see it. lol!

RON Posted 07/05/2010 22:50:17

tiny Posted 08/05/2010 05:52:12

What a nice looking dog

Jane x

sleeper Posted 11/05/2010 06:05:31

sorry for the lack of updates. yes it has been a bit busy here.up to yesterday happy, along with my two, shared the house with 2 visla tarts and my friends' 17 year old collie x . she got on well with all of them.especially the old girl. a very strange alliance indeed.

she can be a bit food and toy possessive...as opposed to aggressive.she thinks all she sees belongs to her and snatches things and runs off with them.

she will do ANYTHING for food or a game with a toy, so she'll be easy to train. she learns quickly too. apart from a wee indoors when play was far too exciting to leave to go outside, she has been clean indoors. so far,she has slept right through every night in her crate.

she is excellent with children and is very relaxed and gentle with them...much to my surprise!

her exact age in months is hard to pinpoint.one minute she's very puppyish, the next she's dead crafty.late child/ early teenage years, under a year old i'd say.

now i have more time i'll take some more photos.

tiny Posted 11/05/2010 08:12:45

nice one. ta
