Khan is a very handsome 9 year old Male German Shepherd and is neutered and in good health and a very handsome and loveable character.
He has spent his life mainly with another similar aged dog, a husky cross.

Khan is generally a laid back dog, but he is very playful for his age. He's a friendly boy and was always very good with the children he has lived with in the past - albeit because of his size he may be better suited to older children.



He mixes well with other dogs when he is out and about. His has never shown any aggression towards cats, but he has not lived with them before.

Khan is house-trained and can safely be left for a reasonable time. He is used to sleeping on a quilt in the spare room and he travels well.
He tends to pull on the lead at first, but will settle and walk well after about 5 minutes. Off lead, he likes to have a run but his recall needs some working on.
He is fine for a couple of miles at most currently, possibly further but he has not been exercised well so should be built up gradually.

Khan loves toys, especially balls, ropes and anything that squeaks.

Khan is fine when he encounters people out on walks, showing more interest in the walk itself. Around the home its always best to introduce people new to him considerately. Bring them in whilst he is out the back, get them seated and give them a treat to give to him. Then when introduced he will love them forever.He loves pigs ears and doggy choc drops!!

Khan may be rehomed with an older calm dog, he could also be rehomed where he is the only pet.

Iwould like to thank Phill dogsnaps for going and piking up Khan and taking him in as a foster so Khan is now in foster in sussex

Khan has been to the vets today for a check up and his ferst vax he was givan clean bill of helth hes started traning and will be best as a only dog this boy is just a love monster

From Khans foster Khan is a very energetic boy for his age loves walks and his foster has started woking on his recol this boy will make sumone a grerat dog

He is very handsome and has a really smiley face.

Update from Khan's foster.

Khan is a lovely boy, he adores human contact and loves being made a fuss of.
His foster dad has been working on Khan's recall which is now 100% Khan is active and energetic for his age, he looks forward to his daily walks and thoroughly enjoys them.

This handsome boy would make a wonderful companion to some lucky family, preferably as the only dog.

Just a quick update on Kahn. He going to the vet tomorow morning for his second booster injection and also will be microchipped at the same time. Generally he is doing fine and is now putting on weight. His training is also coming on but some areas are less successful, time will tell. Will endeavour to post some pics in near future.

He reminds me of one of my foster dogs called Shiver ...
